The officers and crew of the USS Maquis NCC 75630, a correspondence chapter of STARFLEET the International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc. (SFI) have agreed to organize ourselves in such a way to promote the concepts, ideals and philosophies established by SFI. We also practice the ideals, concepts and philosophies for a better future envisioned by the Great Bird of the Galaxy, Gene Roddenberry.
Our primary purpose is the pursuit of unity and fellowship amongst our membership to help promote concepts put forth in Star Trek, i.e. Infinite Diversity Infinite Combinations (I.D.I.C.) through community involvement, online meetings, conventions, social events, charity involvement, and positive interaction with other SFI chapters and fan organizations. Our goal is to foster a climate of acceptance and tolerance of individual beliefs and ideals. With that in mind, the USS Maquis is open to all regardless of race, creed, age, sex, disabilities, species or planet of origin.
